So much for all the advertisement about A Famosa! It wasn't half as exciting as it looked! It really is a place for parents to bring little kiddies la.
On the first day we went to Cowboy Town. They had some kiddy rides there, Photo-taking corner with TIGERS, some souvenir shops and a bowling alley. Yawnn. Hahaha. Got things to see but nth to do la basically.. yea.. cept look ard the shops. Then we went to watch the Night Carnival.. which i will never forget.. cos they picked 5 "lucky" ladies to participate in the Red Indian show and I was one of them! Apparently I let out a really resounding, uninhibited laughter when one of the Red Indian Guys hopped into a seat beside this old lady sitting in the row in front of me.. and tried to scare her. But the Old lady was so Gung-ho that she BOOed him back! HAHAHA it was really Funny la the gung-ho old lady!! I guess he heard me laughing so he turned behind, grabbed my hand, pulled me out of the crowd and onto the street. Should have kept my big mouth shut =.=
So me and 4 other girls were made to kneel around the fire. Then one by one we will be challenged by one of the Red indian guys. The challenge is to-imitate them. AND BOYYY it was HUMILIATIIINNGG and totally UNGLAMNESS!! Cos we were supposed to imitate their Babaric movements and Yells! And u can imagine how Red Indians Yell right?? AYEEEYEYEEEEEYAAAAYEEE AWOOOHOOOHOOOOWOOOHOOWAAHAAAWEEHEEE~ Ok la i anyhow one. Hahaha.. point is it really is DOWNright unglam. HAHA and we all had to DO THAT ok. And that Guy was being hard on me cos he gave me such a difficult and Super Unglam Yell for me to imitate la! I wud really look lk an insane Tarzan woman if i had imitated him exactly.
So After that, the Chief had to pick a ''Princess for the night'' a.k.a Victim for the night. So the chief walked towards this girl beside me but suddenly swerved to turn to me and ''Crowned'' me with the red indian feather hat. I was thinking ''?!?!?!?'' cos i hadn't exactly been the best imitator noe. But anw i thought that the worst was over but i was WRONG. There were more Barbaric Acts to come. I was made to hold this fire stick and imitate some guy again. Ok at first it was easy u noe.. jus taking the stick and moving it around.. then next i knew.. he used the fire stick to touch his palm. O.o Hell i wudnt even swipe my finger across the flame from a candle. Now I'm supposed to put that Flame on my palm?? I was lk NOonononononononononono and those guys were really mean ok. They just push my hand to touch the flame la! Eh but surprisingly it hardly even felt warm. O.o how come ar. Ok and thats not the worst k. They made Me and the audience believe that i was going to do Fire-EATING O.O
So next i was kneeling on the ground and some guy was covering my eyes and they asked me to open my mouth. Somehow I was very obedient cos maybe i knew that if anyth happened to me A Famosa wud be sued upside down. I dint even panic cos i dint feel any warmth ard my face. Next, i felt the stick touch the tip of my tongue. Found out from my family later that they used the non-burning end of the stick instead la. =.= Well they cud have TOLD me that it was just a hoax first u noe. =.= Really think they shouldnt get girls for this kinda act u noe. I think its harsh on girls. I think even guys oso will get scared k. My dad said he almost wanted to Jump out and stop them! Hahaha so sweet xp But that wud have been dramatic. Lol. After that there was some animal carnival thingy and then they had Fireworks to end the whole show! They have fireworks Everyday u noe! Really wonder where they get the money to put the fireworks display up every night cos A Famosa isnt exactly some rich resort O.o
2nd Day we went to Animal World. We watched the Elephant show, Multi-animal show and Bird Show. Acty it was really quite boring la cos the acts were simple and nth new. The thing I liked abt that place was that it had a tram which drove thru the animal safari so we could see the animals upclose without even having to walk. We were supposed to watch One more show but after watching the other 3 my family decided that they'd rather go back to hotel and sleep. Hahaha. yea so I slept the afternoon away! At night we went to watch some sub-standard supposedly 4D show- The Haunted Office. Man it must be the WORST 4D show i've ever watched. It was kinda creepy.. some parts reminded me of the House of the Dead arcade game. But it wasn't Scaryy.. cos it Totally isn't 4D can! It's only 3D! The monsters don't come popping out at you at all! And the seat felt lk it was jerking for no reason.. totally not synchopated with the show at all la. Anyhow jerk. So dumb. The animation was lousyyyy too la. EE yerr. Lousy show really. So disappointed cos i was looking foward to watching the 4D show so much.
3rd Day and Thankfully the LAST DAY we slept till ten! LOL this trip i slept alot! Haha cos nth to do la. Went to waterworld to play~ Dint play much tho. We only played slides which dint require us to rent floats. So we only played awhile then drove down to Makota to SHOPP!! Got some Shou Huo Muahaha. Eh i never even shop since Great Singapore Sale started so dun feel so guilty to spend a little on this trip xp Ooh and the Pizza hut in Malaysia is Sooo cheapp! One JUG of pepsi there costs as much as one GLASS in singapore! We spent an average of 5 SGD per person for that meal. Large Pizza plus Jug of pepsi. So CHEAPP.
And yep tts about all for my trip! Really tired now. Gonna sleep sommoreee
